My first book was a flop

I wrote my first book on Business Intelligence,”eBusiness measurements and analytics”. The idea was to introduce the GOM concept. Goal Oriented Measurements by using GAM approach , Goals –> Attributes –> Metrics. But it is a super duper flop. Sold around 40 copies in 1 year. Am I a bad writer? May be. Who cares? But, I will write and improve. Now, I am planning another book, so even if the new one sells 80 copies in 1 year I will call it a success. My idea is not to make money by writing or publishing but to let out things going on in my 10-20 pounds head out of which I may be using 20 grams. Be it a blog or a book. Oh yes, or my wife. :-) I will let it out.
