So, Steve is back at suggesting that Yahoo and MSFT should merge. Make up your mind Steve. I am not a rich person but at least this much I can think that when I am investing money I keep emotions out of the game. Sometimes I do fail but I cannot imagine doing a deal worth billions of dollars with emotions.
Emotional competency is one thing that takes us beyond the normal platform. Steve is at the top of the world but I think someone brighter can lead MSFT better. In last 7 years of his tenure at Microsoft, he has not shown any growth for MSFT, oh sorry, not growth, but actually the MSFT has gone down, lost almost 50% market cap. Cash pocket is also going down.
Is the future of MSFT over? Probably not. I am still own some share indirectly in MSFT and wish that some sense comes into management at MSFT.
47 billion dollars is a big money. Ofcourse, no need to write that. I understand that but why can’t MSFT management think to use that money wisely. Will it need 47 billion dollars to make up Yahoo. Really???
